Holocaust Research in Context: The Emergence of Research Centers and ApproachesThe lectures presented in this conference were collected and published by the Institute in 2008. The anthology, Holocaust Historiography in Context: Emergence, Challenges, Polemics, and Achievements, is a new and thought provoking collection on issues and perspectives in Holocaust research in various countries, with leading historians on the implications of their work. From overviews by Hilberg and Michman through the early beginnings of Holocaust research and the emergence of Jewish research centers, the articles focus on the national context of history studies.
